Coaches,

We are experiencing extremely high winds in Kaysville. We have pits and porta poties blowing all over the place. We are going to need to delay the meet till 11:00. Because of the delay we are going to need to combine the open and the invited sections. We realize that this is going to cause a lot of problems, but at this point it is the only way that we can have the meet. I will type up a new schedule and post it on Runnercard as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, there isn't much I can do about the weather. We will have a coaches meeting at 10:30 to talk about field events and other details.

Sorry to change things up a little. Because so many teams are dealing with prom, I don't want to bump kids up into the Invited Section without coaches letting me know. To make things easier I am going to list which invited events have openings and if you want your athlete to fill that spot let me know. If there are multiple athletes that want a spot in the invited section I will defer to the best mark. Anyone in the open is welcome to claim these spots. I will accept these requests till noon. At noon I will seed the meet and hopefully have heat sheets around 3:00. I have also attached the update accepted entries which have the alternates moved into the open events. *PLEASE READ* Coaches, Below are the accepted entries for this years Davis Invitational. You have until Noon on Wednesday to email me any scratches that you have, this includes alternates. Any alternates that are not scratched will be bumped up into open spots. There are many kids that do not get into the meet because it is so competetive. I hate having empty lanes that would be filled by kids that want to compete, so please send me your scratches even if they are way down on the alternate list. All scratches should be sent to DavisInvitational@gmail.com Typically the most movement occurs in the distance races. If you have an athlete that is at the top of the open list there is a good chance they will end up in the invited race. If you would like them to stay in open rather than bump up, please let me know. I am trying to avoid sending out lots of emails asking if you want me to move kids up in the distance races. While compiling the list I noticed that there were some double entries, as I go through and remove them, that will move some kids around as well. It is always crazy when dealing with so many entries, we had 53 teams and 3,500 entries this year, so please have patience if there are any mistakes. Davis Invite 2021 accepted entries

Coaches and Parents, We are excited for the Davis Invitational 2021. Because State will be hosted by Davis this year we anticipate this to be one of the most competitive fields we have ever seen. We will try to do the bullpen, weigh-in and results as close to how they will be at State so that athletes can get used to our facility. We ask for your patience as we try a few new things this year. Below is all of the meet information. I will emphasize that it is crucial that you put legal marks for your athletes, any athletes with no marks will not be accepted into the meet. It is also extremely important that you email me your scratches once we release the accepted entries (especially the alternates). All alternates are available to be bumped up into the invited. It is very common for one distance race to be targeted and the other abandoned and we sometimes go really deep into the alternate list to fill out the race.
